Article Marketing - get a targeted increase of web traffic to your site

One of the best ways to increase web traffic to your site is article marketing. Why? Because you can write on just about any subject ranging from from trimming your dogs nails to starting your own Zen Budda cult. If you don’t know what to write about, do a quick brainstorming session on your interests and delve deeper into them.. i guarantee you will find something you can write!

Once you have written your article you will want to distribute and publish it, and the internet is the fastest and most cost effective way to circulate your article

See the great thing about article marketing is you get your name out in the public domain, and if people like your content then they may very well perceive you as the authority figure in your chosen area. This must be your goal when writing an article along with redirecting them to your site.

Approach individual related websites - Here is an opportunity for you to create a some relationships with similar themed websites. Make sure you are not direct competitors, and with the site and focus on enhancing the value their end consumers will receive

Ezine Directories- look up ezine articles related to your topic and email them. You may need to convince them of your articles purpose and value but well worth it! Be prepared for rejection or non responses i might add

Give articles to your affiliate members (if applicable) - If you have affiliates… email them and get them to submit the articles to sites or send out to their email lists. Refer them to this article to learn how!

So submitting your articles and getting them re-published on others’ websites and newsletters/ezines is one of the most powerful Internet marketing strategies. Your articles will then start working as a free advertisement for you forever. And you do not have to pay even a dime for such advertising space.
